4/10/12 Snatch
Today's workout was great, I did about a 3 and a third mile run in a little over 20 minutes, averaging about 6.10 per mile. My goal is doing a mile and a half in under 8 minutes, which would set the record at the new firefighting crew this summer. Then about an hour later at the gym I did sets of about 3 or 4 of hanging snatches, started with 95# which was more of a warmup, then 115, 125, 125, 135, then only two good ones at 135#. Lastly I did 10 sets of 10 box jumps with 5 slow slow toes to bar. not a real tough circuit. But the workout as a whole was good. I still feel like I need alot of work on my snatches, but it was a start. Another good thing about today's workout was how sore I am, my legs and back are both sore all over, so I was really nervous about the run and snatches but they both went surprisingly well.
