Days off and lockout
So after one day off I decided to take two off since I was still sore in almost everywhere. During the days off I kept my diet really good, didn't eat anything outside of it. I went to gamestop and picked up Jak and Daxter and Jak 2 for 3 dollars each, they are action type puzzle platform jumping games for the playstation 2, pretty old games. If you have a ps2 I would recommend them, definitely worth 3 dollars, beware though, parts of them can get extremely frustrating. Also, Jerame wanted to go see a movie and he doesn't like watching movies in 3D, which was the only D that Wrath of the Titans was in, so Lockout was the only movie that looked decent. It is a movie about an orbiting maximus security prison, the presidents daughter was on a mission there to find out about how they treat the prisoners, the prisoners all got out, took over the orbital and captured the daughter, they had to send one guy to try to sneak in and get her out. It was actually pretty good, I thought it would be stupid, which it was, the main character was funny in a look at me I am always an a**hole and smart ass type of way. There was also some cool action, nothing great, but once it gets to cheap theater I would say it is entertaining enough for a cheap theater ticket.
Today was, obviously, my first workout after two days off, and tonight I am going to sushi with my Fiance Audra(I love sushi and am way excited), so I wanted to do a fat/calorie burning workout. so I ran to the gym a little over 1.5 miles, then did my workout
3 RFR(Rounds for Reps)
1 minute each workout
-Double Unders (65-95)
-Power Clean 135# (7-11)
-Box Jumps (30-35)
-Push Press 95# (15-19)
-Pullups (15-21)
-Rest
I wasn't able to get specific numbers on each round, but I got ranges, obviously, the lower end of the range was the third round and the higher of the range was the first round.
It was hard. Like really hard. The power cleans were the meanest, I don't know why, but they felt so ridiculously tough, I have never felt that weak power cleaning 135. Turns out that Double Unders right before makes them really terrible. Pullups were also really hard. On the plus side I was able to get a new record on my Double Unders, I got 78 unbroken Double Unders on my first round.
Then I ran home, so another 1.5 miles.
Now just watching the storage units and playing Jak 2 until I take off to Boise to meet Audra for sushi and just hanging out. Really excited.
