3/3/12 Man-Makers
Hung out today at the house/storage units again, nothing exciting going on, I didn't play any video games today, just watched lots of Grimm, Community and some Colbert report. I actually was working on handstands and my shoulder flexibility today.
The workout was 5x5 Overhead Squat @ 135, not impressive, but for me it is a step.
5x5 Back Squat @ 255
then 7 RFT
7 Burpees
7 Box Jumps
7 Man-Makers

If you don't know what a man maker is, it is where you have 2 35lb dumbbells at your feet, you jump back like a burpee and do a pushup with your hands on the dumbell, then you do a one arm row, then another pushup then row the other arm. Lastly you jump in(again like a burpee) but instead of jumping up you clean the dumbbells and jerk them overhead, then back down. So yeah man makers suck, I was planning to do some sprints afterwords, but I was too dead.
Someone at the gym came over as I was sitting trying to catch my breathe looking like death and dripping sweat, he asked me why I was working out so hard. I just said I have no idea. I really don't. I told Audra later that I do it to because its hard, because I can, I like to push myself and I like a challenge, I am not even sure if that is reason enough, I honestly have no real idea or legit reason to why I work out so hard. Also, I just decided that I am going to start trying to make titles for each blog, like this one. But yeah if you feel like doing man makers go for it, they are mean but goodness they work.
